Our recently renovated house provides you with all creature comforts. The cosy and modern Tyrolean-style breakfast room invites you to linger and enjoy your free time. Start your day off with a hearty and healthy breakfast, which will give you the energy you need for a day in the Tyrolean mountains around Nauders. Our breakfast room also makes an ideal guest lounge, where you can sit with friends or family watching the flat-screen TV, reading books or playing games.
Entertainments programme
Manfred, our certified mountain guide, knows where to find all the best peaks, hiking routes, alpine huts, mountains and lakes. Each tour is tailored to the abilities and fitness level of the group. Together with him you will discover the most beautiful spots in the tri-border region of Austria, Italy and Switzerland as well as the unique landscape and plant kingdom of the Alps.
Manfred is also happy to give you mountain bike tour tips and will show you the best and most action-packed routes in the 3 countries cycling and bike arena around Nauders on the Reschenpass. We can also provide motorbike fans and culture enthusiasts with plenty of hot tips.
Mountain hut parties followed by tobogganing and snowshoe hikes are all part of our winter entertainments programme. Enjoy the delightful wintry scenery with its glistening snow crystals and recover from the stresses of everyday life.

Fantastic place with nice owners
We stayed as a big family with 2 kids. The apartment has all the items needed & cleanly maintained. The garden is enough for the children to play. The owners are very friendly, my family enjoyed the stay. When we had a difficulty outside, the owners really helped with the local knowledge. I would like to comeback here again.
We had a great stay at Bergfrieden
When we where greeted by the owner it was like in a movie. She was super friendly and did try to make our stay perfect. I am very tall so she did move us to another room with a longer bed. There was everything one could ask in the kitchen and from the kitchen window we could see the castle and the mountains. We had a nice home made dinner and did sleep very good. Breakfast is downstairs and it was good as well. The owner did come a few times to make sure we had everything. We did like the friendly atmosphere of the place. It had almost no hotel feeling – more like you come to stay with friends and they give you an apartment in there house.
